Hochkranz

Home.

Bombed down from here on my mountain bike all the way home twice last weekend. Was so epic.

We went for a long walk…

..but got stuck by the snow.. Couldnt go much further..

Jule’s friend Margaret came to visit. When the snow got too deep to go any higher we just kicked it in that hut bottom left drinking beer in the sun.

Oil sets new record high of $122 a barrel
Over the last few years I have become a fiend for information and statistics and have been morbidly watching the price of a barrel of oil go from below $30 dollars a barrel in 2003 to $122 as of today, which is double what it was this time last year. It feels a bit like watching a slow motion car crash.
I was reading about all of this years ago and was hoping it wouldnt happen, because the consequences will/are affecting pretty much every aspect of modern life, but If you don’t like wading through pages and pages of data and are wondering why the price of food has doubled in the last several years as well as fuel and so many other products, (and this is just the start) if you havent seen it yet, have a watch of this:

The History of Hip Hop
The Rub has a really solid History of hip hop from the 90′s with a different mix for each year. Some real jewels in there and well mixed together too. All free to me and you.
There is so much new music coming out non stop in so many different genres that I rarely dig in to my old music because when listening to music all day and night, even the best beats gets boring after repeat listens, but many moons have passed since these came out and listening to them now they sound as dope as they did when I first heard them, with the added advantage that they all have memories attached.
Thanks to Steve for the heads up.
