Quick stop at the local KTM store
Finally got to see the white and chrome Kiska designed powerparts kit. I want to see the black and chrome one though.

Husaberg supermoto’s

The new 2011 KTM SX with a supermoto kit.

Sorry for the shite phone photos.
My boys first ride

The quality of this thing is amazing. It’s really heavy which makes it super stable and apparently uses proper car paint on the white so that the paint doesn’t chip. Thanks PJ!
Powder stoke
Absolutely dumping it down here, this is the view out of the window just now.

Cant wait to go ride this weekend!

Wicked little Mark Sollors edit. The adrenaline rush after watching this video makes it dam hard to sit still! Click that little full screen button down bottom right of the video at least for the first massive POV jump over the trees.
Look on the Bright Side by Voleurz
Just in time for the massive snowstorm which has arrived today and is due to last for at least a week and just in time to balance the report from the IEA, the world’s leading compiler of everything about energy going from denying that conventional oil production will peak in our lifetime to saying it happened four years ago, Voleurz releases, FOR FREE, the best ski/snowboard movie I have seen this year, the superb “Look on the bright side”.
M & M KTM RCR R Bikenstein
Wow, the M & M team have just hit the ball for 6. It’s not even worth starting to list all the ingredients, but what a bike! Would be nuts to drive, but it looks like it would be wickedly good fun for as long as you could stay on it!
Gee Atherton vs David Knight, Fort William, the result.

David Knight, one of the best Enduro riders in the world riding his KTM 530EXC went head to head against Gee Atherton, Downhill mountain bike world champion on his Commencal on the Fort William Downhill mountain bike course. Since the news of the race there has been a complete media blackout on it which has helped to further build suspense. So when my subscription to Dirt magazine arrived today I tore open the packaging to see who won…. and then my 6 month old baby started screaming hysterically for his dinner. Shite! Anyway, eventually, with baby finally fed and in bed, I read the article and was somewhat amazed to see that on the two runs they did, Gee Atherton took the win both times. Buy this months copy of dirt for the full lo-down, but basically Knight made up a massive amount of time on his 2nd run and I reckon with a few more runs would have taken it. Nonetheless, as it stands, the winner of the battle of Moto VS DH on his Downhill MTB was Gee Atherton so much respect to him!
PSP Bikenstein 5
Small bore tuned 350cc 4 stroke based on the KTM 125 engine and frame, 125 r wheels and 125 stunt forks with various other mods, tweaks and additions. 2 different variations.

M & M Adventure bikenstein
Maxime from Kiska just sent me the craziest Bikenstein yet which was built in collaboration with an ex colleague of his Mark. Some KTM Adventure, some superduke and some mad proportions in there.
1972 CB450
You can see how much work and care went into this build here. Definitely one of the nicest CB’s I have ever seen. Via Do the TON

Bikenstein RC8 Track racer
Somehow those frankenbikes I designed got some of my buddies excited to give it a go which is somewhat surprising since they spend all day every day designing bikes already. First Martin P, ex KTM, ex BMW and current Honda designer created a beast of a machine on his blog, and now my man Craig, ex BMW, ex Honda and current KTM designer made a wicked slammed RC8 track racer. Seems the only thing to do is to make a new category for this blog consisting of dream bikensteins, so if anyone else fancies giving it a shot drop us a mail and if it’s good enough (nice design, almost photo-realistic, at least 800px wide and without any pixelation) we will post it and send you a t-shirt. I guess it’s kind of the hip hop of bike design, just sample whatever you like, remix it a bit and add your own touch on top.
[11/21/10 6:07:47 PM] Craig D: KTM RC8 Frame and general parts, KTM SMR wheels, and then a whole load of old parts merged to various other KTM stuff. Just fancied a low, mean kick ass kind off racer feel.
New packaging
All -273 shirts will soon be shipped in these new reusable sleeves.
Addict footwear
Feels like ages since I got excited about a pair of shoes. Maybe it’s just a sign of getting older, or maybe there hasn’t been much to get excited about or maybe I figured I already had enough shoes, and not enough money so best to keep the money. Whatever the case, I came across these today and they are definitely tempting. I always liked addict gear and the direction they took their brand so nice to see them come out with some new footwear.

Diplo – Florida
Diplos old florida dvd in its 30+ minute entirety. Dooope.
Bikenstein 4
This one started roughly with a KTM superduke base.
Roczen Holeshot GP di Fermo
Not only did 16 year old Ken Roczen get a massive holeshot over the rest of the field, but he scrubbed the hell out of the first jump too and was halfway to the landing before the rest of the field had even reached the take off! Such an epic photo, I had to scan it from the Italian offroad magazine Fuori. Photo by Grioni. Cant wait to see this kid on KTM soon.
