My friend Benny’s girlfriend Claudia came to the park with us on the weekend and snuck around taking photos. Some of them came out pretty good. I’m in the turquoise shirt, Benny’s in Black.

World Karting Champ and GP3 driver Oliver Oaks was recently in FHM magazine in the UK looking sharp in the -273 insurgents shirt.

Longtime friend and fan of -273 opened his garage and let us have a peak at his mint 1973, 2.8 Carrera RSR.

One of only 55 produced, and last to have all matching numbers and in original, concourse condition, he recently turned down a $1.2m offer for it.

So we filmed 5 runs on the weekend at Wagrain, 2 with the helmet camera pointing forward and 2 pointing back, and I did a few other shots with the 550d. We filmed top to bottom without stopping so the vid is quite long (and boring if you are not into biking I guess). Its also a little small on this page and looks obviously much better fullscreen and in HD on the vimeo site here. I think we didnt have the helmet angle quite right, but its tricky since there is no playback screen on the GoPro. Benny is in black with purple bars, me in white tee and helmet.

Wallrides the other way feel easier for some reason. Might explain why I ended up driving through a nettle bush after landing. It was really dark when we shot this, and in order to get a fast enough shutter I boosted the ISO to 3500 on the 550d, which made it a little grainy but I quite like the result.

Nelson Piquet Jr. continues to show his versatility in the Nascar Craftsman Series where he netted top 10′s in Texas and Michigan. Thanks for representing NP, looking sharp.

A big group of us from work went riding for the day since KTM is one of our main clients. Lot of people were trying it out for the first time so we didn’t go to a particularly good track.

Not much to jump off really but it was fun anyway.

This was a pretty high quarry wall, and you had to hit it fast to air over one section to the top. First hit was a little sketchy but I was feeling well good after that.
