KISKA Making Of Opel RAK e
From the wooden box to the concept car:
A unique Making Of about the birth of the lightweight electric vehicle Opel RAK e and the work we did on it at Kiska.
Honda EV-STER concept sketches

My buddy Craig pointed out that the sketches are done by 2 different people, crazy how close they can get their styles, so that it even looks like one person did both.
Honda EV-STER
From the Tokyo motorshow.
Honda’s new rear-wheel drive electric roadster concept offers a 160-kilometer range, a 0-37 mph (60kph) time of 5.0 seconds and a top speed of 99 mph.

Ridiculous steering concept, but apart from that it’s pretty cool. Electric cars I think have a lot of potential, if first of all we can find a way to provide enough electricity to run them, and 2nd of all we make a solid switch before the people and the world as a whole are completely broke as a result of spiking oil prices/peak oil/declining EROI. Or are we too late already? Oh yea, and third of all if we can somehow overcome the looming shortages of rare earth materials such as cobalt, lithium and platinum to make the transition.
Reptilian Roadster
Nice concept and 3d. Wish I still had 3DS max, makes me want to go play.

Opel Rak-e EV concept

I’m not really a big fan of these small, conceptual electric vehicles, but this thing looked pretty dam good when it was finished, sitting in the studio here. Been working on a video showing the design and build process behind it which should be up after the Frankfurt motorshow.
More info on the car here.
Starck’s soapbox
We made this buggy here at Kiska for Philippe Starck and Intersection magazine. I guess you can read what you like into it, but I saw it as quite a profound statement on the state of the car industry at the time (2008).

Starting to walk, H@H7 – Salzburg
I filmed and edited this video in a couple of hours to show my family and friends overseas who haven’t seen my son walk yet, and originally uploaded it only on facebook. The response was great though and since I filmed it in Hanger 7 and there are some bikes and cars around in the background I figured I might as well post it here as well.
He is probably the hardest thing I have ever tried to film because he hardly ever stays still and I had to stop filming every few seconds to rescue him from whatever mischief he was currently up to. Kind of shaky filming too as i was holding the camera in a way i couldn’t see the screen, trying to film low down, whilst running after him! haha
Cooler than before
Getting to the races in style
Quick trip up Gaisberg

Stopped for a walk half way up and there was this mint Ferrari outside the restaurant.
