Rok Bagoros – KTM 690 Stunt Duke – The beginning
As if it couldn’t get any better for the official KTM stunt rider, Rok Bagoros of Slovenia has now stepped up his game with his new KTM 690 Duke stunt factory bike.
After amazing and thrilling the international crowds on the KTM Duke 125, Rok has now taken delivery of what is his first ever big bike and now has to work on converting his tricks to suit the more powerful machine.
“There’s a BIG difference between the two bikes,” Rok said. “The bike has five times more power then the Duke 125 and any mistake can result in a crash, as I’ve already discovered. The bike has amazing power but I’m slowly getting it under control. I have to remember that this is my first big stunt bike and so I have to learn how to handle the extra power and convert it into spectacular tricks that will be fun to do and thrilling for the fans.”

Two podium seconds for Musquin and Roczen in Seattle
2012 AMA Supercross – Rd 15 Seattle races
MXGP Bulgaria 2012
Jeffrey Herlings finished second in MX2 GP of Bulgaria today and retains the red plate as championship leader. In the 2nd moto he closed in on Searle from quite a long way back, but once he got there Searle pulled away, then he closed back up but Searle rode really well and took the win. Was an exciting race. Since he comes from the same local MX race club where I used to race when I was a kid I want to see Searle win, but there is not much in speed between them and it could go either way this season. Judging by twitter blowing up (even Roczen got in on it) with talk of Herlings saying he gave Searle a present and let him win, I guess Herlings would do well to bite his lip sometimes. I like the kid, he is as passionate about the sport as anyone and yes he is a dam good rider, but he got beat straight up by Searle today.

Victory for Coma in Sealine Rally

Photos by E. Bauer
KTM’s 3-times Dakar winner Marc Coma on Saturday underlined he is King of the Desert by taking overall victory in the first ever Sealine Rally in Qatar. He has now won both rallies of the FIM Cross Country World Championship held so far with two to go in Sardinia and Egypt.
In what was an extremely fast final desert leg, Coma finished 2:06 minutes behind his Spanish compatriot Joan Barreda whose chances of winning were scrapped two days ago after he incurred a 2-our penalty for missing a control point. Coma rounded off what has been a great week’s ride by securing the overall victory from Portugal’s Helder Rodrigues by a margin of six minutes. The top 10 finishers averaged speeds of between 109.4 and 102. 3 kmh.
KTM riders Jordi Villadoms, also of Spain rounded off the final podium leading in a string of other KTM 450 Rally bike riders. Jakub Przgonski of Poland was fourth and Coma’s factory teammate Ruben Faria of Portugal finished fifth. In total riders of the Dakar-winning KTM rally bike soaked up seven of the top 10 places for an excellent result for the Austrian brand.

Would prefer the rims in a different color, but this must be one badass bike to ride. Brand new, still got the plastic on the seat.
