MXGP 11th round Lommel, Belgium

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Tony Cairoli had a magnificent day in the soft sands of Lommel, Belgium on Sunday to seal his 34th career GP victory with a very impressive two moto clean sweep in the MX1 GP.
Also back on top of his game was factory teammate Max Nagl of Germany, who put in some of his characteristic blitz starts out of the gate and finished with a second and third for overall second place on the podium.
Cairoli of Italy, the reigning MX1 world champion has now well and truly put the new KTM 350 SX-F through its paces winning no less that 12 races so far this season on the superbly agile racing machine. The two race wins this weekend in Lommel were his fourth and fifth moto victories in succession. Tony is now leading with 79 points clear of Belgian Clement Desalle in the season’s standings. While many competitors struggled with the deep and much pitted sand on the Lommel track, Cairoli flew over it with impressive ease and never looked threatened in either of the two motos. Obviously delighted with his victory after two difficult races, he leapt onto the podium enthusiastically waving an Italian flag.

Le Mans Classic
Lots of superb photos from the Le Mans classic by Laurent Nivalle on his website here. As well as photography he is also extremely talented at 3d. Check out the cgi section on his site too.

Monster/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki
Pro circuit have been dominating Supercross for as long as I can remember. I even had and raced a replica pro-circuit KX125 when I was 15, which actually sucked for some reason as it was way down on power from my previous Suzuki rm125, but anyway…
They won the East and West Region Supercross Championships this year in dominant style, my friend sent me a photo of them running 1-2-3-4 at the season finale in Las Vegas.

1973 factory porsche 911 RSR
Longtime friend and fan of -273 opened his garage and let us have a peak at his mint 1973, 2.8 Carrera RSR.
One of only 55 produced, and last to have all matching numbers and in original, concourse condition, he recently turned down a $1.2m offer for it.
Arguably one of the most revered 911s of all time, the Fuchs wheels alone are a work of art, no longer available, and valued at more than a second-hand BMW M3. To get your hands on a replacement, 10,000rpm tacho, will probably mean you need to part with your Rolex Daytona. And you don’t have to be a mathematician to calculate what 300bhp and 975kg will equate to on the road.
This epitome of form follows function and testament to power-to-weight ratio, has recently humbled some Porsche 917s at a Brands Hatch revival and become a fan favorite among 911 connoisseurs.
