With an ancient, deep and rich culture, Iran is a fascinating country with a long and complex history dating back to the twilight of civilised man. My old friend PJ is off to visit some family there next week and dropped me an email with some photos of his last trip.

After recently having my membership to derestricted reinstated, combined with my country being in the news a lot, Piers thought we need to portray it in a different light, so here a sneak peak into some sights of Tehran and Isfahan.

I will return there this week for a few days, to make sure that all the militias are up and running and the Elite Revolutionary Guard is well funded, so part deux will follow.
